XST-FVCSmart Portable Vegetation Cover Meter produced by Beijing StarView is based on the automatic vegetation extraction algorithm (MSI-Kmeans) under natural lighting conditions, and realizes the accurate classification of the vegetation in the image under various lighting conditions with the background (soil or sky) and the non-healthy vegetation through a large amount of data training and feature extraction.
The instrument is mainly used for field data sampling and investigation of grassland, farmland, wetland, woodland, etc. It is convenient and quick to use, accurately obtains high-resolution RGB images and red and near-infrared spectral image data, and automatically calculates vegetation coverage FVC and NDVI and other vegetation indices.
